What The Claude Code SEO Agent Actually Does

It takes a keyword.

Writes the content.

Publishes to multiple sites.

I give it a keyword and a video — the rest happens automatically.

The Workflow Step By Step

1 — Find low-competition keywords

I look for keywords where:

The top 10 results have weak domains (Medium, Reddit, small blogs).
The intent is informational or how-to.
There's no big brand dominating.

2 — Feed the keyword into Claude Code

I copy the keyword into Claude Code Desktop.

I paste a related video transcript or topic notes.

I trigger a custom skill that runs the SEO workflow.

3 — The agent writes 5 unique articles

The skill writes one unique article per target site.

Same keyword. Different angle, structure, examples, and FAQs each time.

The agent embeds the related YouTube video near the top.

Adds CTAs.

Internal-links to existing posts on the same site.

4 — Auto-deploy to 5 sites

Each article saves to its site folder.

The agent runs the build (Eleventy).

Deploys to Netlify via the Netlify API.

All 5 sites updated within a few minutes.

5 — Submit to Omega Indexer

The agent calls the Omega Indexer API.

Submits all 5 URLs.

Names the campaign with the keyword and date.

This is the part that actually gets the content indexed quickly.

6 — Update tracking sheet

The agent posts a row to my Google Sheet.

Keyword.

Video URL.

Status.

The 5 live URLs.

I can see exactly what's been published and where.

Why Claude Code Specifically

I tried this with other tools.

Claude Code wins because:

It handles long, multi-step workflows reliably.
It has strong file system access (write the markdown directly).
It calls APIs cleanly (Netlify, Omega Indexer, Google Sheets).
It integrates with my IDE and CLI seamlessly.

You can technically do this with Claude direct, OpenClaw, or Hermes.

For pure SEO automation though, Claude Code is the cleanest stack.

Here's the exact toolset:

Claude Code — main agent.
Netlify — hosting and deployment.
Eleventy (11ty) — static site generator.
Omega Indexer — fast Google indexing.
Google Sheets — tracking.
A custom Claude skill — orchestrates the whole flow.

That's it.

Six tools, one custom skill, and you've got an SEO agent.

Content Quality Matters

The agent doesn't just spew content.

It writes with:

Clear headings.
Real case study references (when they exist in the brief).
Personal voice — Hormozi-style, sentence-per-line.
4-6 FAQ questions per article.
Multiple CTAs throughout the page.
Internal links to 2-4 related prior articles.

Quality is the difference between ranking and being ignored.

How Indexing Speeds Up Ranking

If your content isn't indexed, it can't rank.

Period.

Tracking So Nothing Slips

The Google Sheet is the simplest possible tracker:

Column A: keyword.
Column B: video URL.
Column C: status (DONE).
Columns D–H: the 5 live URLs.

The agent updates the sheet automatically.

I can scan it and see what's been published in 10 seconds.

What If You Don't Want Claude Code

You don't have to use Claude Code.

The same workflow works with:

Claude direct — manual but free.

The automation level just differs.

Claude Code gives the highest level of automation right now.

Common Mistakes With Claude Code SEO Agents

1. Picking high-competition keywords on day one.

Start with low-competition.

Build authority first.

2. Skipping internal links.

Internal links massively improve ranking and dwell time.

The agent should always include 2–4.

3. No video embed.

Pages with video rank better.

Always embed.

4. Skipping indexing.

5. Generic CTAs.
